SPYWARE ATTACKS/ INFILTERATION/ INVASION

Spyware infestation of your computer system comes through a variety of avenues namely:

1. Through your connection to the internet (when you visit a website/ surf the web 'www')

2. Downloading/ copying any sort of file/ folder from the internet (music, games, wallpapers, softwares, applications, movies & videos, pictures, themes, etc)

3. Usage of removable drives or media (floppy/diskette drives, cd rom drive, hard disk drive, flash drives/ microvaults, zip drives, sim card readers, ipods, etc)

4. Visit to certain types of sites while on the internet

5. Running of certain types of programmes on your computer system (such as .exe/ .bat/ .dll/ .com)

There you have it folks, what a spyware is, how a spyware works and then, means and avenues that your computer system get infected and affected by spywares.
